If this graph is correct, then most programmers are under 28. This is interesting but what caught my attention was the shape of the age distribution in the first graph. So these programmers were not getting the same year of experience over and over again. Moreover, that knowledge does not seem to be out-of-date. So it would appear that the older the programers are, the more knowledge they have. He also shows, in the following graph, that the reason for this correlation is that the older programmers answer far more questions than the younger ones. The older the programmer, the better the reputation, by far.
